In 2006, I had just started a new chapter of life after getting married. With new responsibilities came a simple thought — I wanted to build something of my own.
I borrowed ₹2 lakh from a relative and started working from a small room inside my father's office. There were only two of us, but every day carried the hope of building something meaningful.
My mornings began by counting stones, preparing metal frames, coordinating with artisans, and checking every finished piece by hand. There were no modern design systems, no shortcuts, and no large team. Just patience, craftsmanship, and the belief that quality would always matter.
That small room didn't just build jewellery. It built the values that continue to define Zevarly today.

The first few years were spent on the road. We travelled from one city to another, carrying our jewellery in a single bag and meeting retailers one shop at a time.
Some stores welcomed us. Many didn't. There were days when we returned with very few orders, but every conversation helped us understand the market a little better. We learned what customers admired, what retailers needed, and why quality always stood out.

There was no organised fashion jewellery market back then. To find customers, we travelled from city to city, visiting retailers one shop at a time.
One journey took us to Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The first day was disappointing. We walked through the market carrying our sample bag, meeting shop after shop, but very few orders came. It would have been easy to believe that the trip had failed.
The next morning, everything changed.
We discovered a few boutique stores and a gifting shop inside a mall. They loved our designs, appreciated the quality, and purchased almost everything we had carried with us.
As we packed our nearly empty sample bags that evening, we realised something that would stay with us forever.
This business could become our future.
